Gaea Honeycutt, Founder and Certified Master Coach

Gaea Honeycutt has spent her career at the intersection of people, organizations and change. Her path has taken her through the federal government, nonprofits, associations and entrepreneurship, with leadership roles that have ranged from building organizations from the ground up to developing programs and strategies within established institutions.

That breadth of experience is central to how Gaea works as a coach. She has led organizations, developed enterprise-wide talent strategies, and accumulated more than 100 hours of hands-on experience coaching, training and facilitating mid-career professionals. As the co-founder and executive of a chamber of commerce, she produced more than 25 professional development events annually and spent hundreds of hours advising business leaders—from emerging entrepreneurs to executives of complex organizations—on growth and leadership challenges. She also launched and led a nonprofit focused on leadership development, creating programs and conversations around leadership and professional growth.

As a Certified Master Coach, Gaea works with professionals navigating leadership, career and strategic transitions. She is naturally curious and has a knack for seeing the forest and the trees simultaneously. In particular, she is interested in helping experienced professionals make sense of where they are, draw on what they’ve learned, and consider what might come next. Her role is not to tell clients what to do, but to help them think, explore possibilities, recognize connections they may not have considered, and make decisions that are right for them.

Gaea holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago, a Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University’s ILR School, and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in American Studies from the University of Massachusetts Boston. She also holds a bachelor’s degree from Bentley College. Her additional training includes coaching certification from the Center for Coaching Certification, mediation training through the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, EEO Counselor training, and SHRM Essentials of Human Resources training.
